After using Project Zomboid server for a while you will be hit by the error
java.util.concurrent.ExecutionException: java.io.IOException: No space left on device
This error is caused by having too many mini files on the disk,
For example, is when you look at the folder
/home/container/.cache/Saves/Multiplayer/
No space left on device project zomboid
you won’t be able to view the contents using the web view as it may have like 50k+ mini files
This will cause the server not able to save all the files before the server starts that’s why the error occurs.
To solve this you need to locate servertest.ini
/home/container/.cache/Server
No space left on device project zomboid
change
BackupsOnStart=true
to
BackupsOnStart=false
and click save content
Restart your project zomboid server. It should now start without the no space left error
